Looking after your beautiful floral creations can be daunting! These tips should help put your mind at ease and keep your flowers looking their best for longer.

General flower care tips

• Position your fresh flowers away from fruit, direct sunlight, heat sources and drafts.
• Remove any spent flowers.

Fresh flower bouquets

• Unwrap and put flowers in a clean vase with water as soon as possible. Ensure no leaves are below the water line.
• Every 2 days, trim your flower and foliage stems by 1.5cm at a 45º angle, clean the vase and replace the water.

Arrangements in floral wool

Floral Wool will need a water top up as it dries out.

Dried flower arrangements

• Keep your dried flowers out of direct sunlight as this will make them fade. Also avoid keeping them in areas with excess moisture as flowers will become limp.
• If dust accumulates on your arrangement, give it a gentle clean with cold air from a hair dryer on the lowest setting.
